Hi All,
I am new. ;D
Here are some of the stuff I could think of for now.
1. Implement access card entry system on top of the current car sticker. Each unit should be given 2 cards by default, and any additional vehicals registered should be allowed to purchase additional cards. Also, the guards could only manual open these gates for registered visitors.
2. Implement cctv at various areas, especially around the fences. These cctv can be linked to each house, and everyone could monitor each cctv. Many smart condo have this feature.
3. Raise the fences/brick wall. These walls have to be at least 5ft tall. The current ones are really useless. Not sure if guards patrol the area around the back of Bayus. The guard house will be less effective with these low fence, unless the burglars are really hobbits.
4. Guards should escort vehicles like, lorry, trucks, or other non domestic vehicle to the designated house and confirm with the owner. Since there are no intercom systems.
5. Alarm system should be mandatory in all houses, the basic ones are very cheap these days. Eventhough, it might not be effective, but lets tell everyone that our neighbourhood is well protected and guarded.
6. Let's shelf the thought of removing the term "Guarded community" as it will only cause drop of value for our properties. Instead, lets think of ways to show to PNHD that they could get more long term gains and benefit by providing us a better secured community.
I know that some of what I mentioned might not be possible to implement for now, but it should be somewhere we should want to achieve. ;D

Hi All,
We had a small TT session with some of the resident who was able to make it at the Benasir restaurant to discuss further to the security issue and we have concluded that we will close the push gate at the non pick period as below. We also will continue to monitor any situation from time to time and if we find the guard is not doing their duty such as sleeping, not stopping vehicle without sticker, no guards around and etc then we will call Mr.Mano to take the next action. This is Mr.Mano handphone number: 012-6965520.
Time the push gate will close will be:
11:00am – 5:00pm 11:00pm – 6:00am
During this time everyone have to wait till the guard checks the sticker and open the gate. Other then this time the guard needs to stop the vehicle without stickers. If they are not doing so then contact Mr.Mano. Let’s put our hand together to resolve this in bound and out bound of vehicle in our residence. I hope everyone will help to monitor this situation as the time goes it will get better as the guard will realize that we are watching them from time to time.
Thanks for all the suggestion as time of period we can only forward your request to PNHD but not sure they will fulfill our request as they are controlling the guards collection and payment. We can’t take control of this till we get fully occupied of houses as we don’t know who are the residents and their contact but we will continue to work on that in the near future. For the time being, let’s do with what we have. Thanks.

The main fuse below my electricity meter got stolen while my family and I was away for 1 week. Don't understand what value does a fuse has, and very likely people living in the same neighbourhood. Looks like we have to start worrying about this new threat.

I can't agree less. I have the same concerns. But how come it's just Ramesh, Dr. Harjeet, and myself. What has happened to others in this community site? They have thier houses installed with the most sophisticated bugler proof alarm systems? Come on guys, you are paying RM50 every month for a bunch of Bollywood actor wannabe, waving to every passer-by

Two incidents happened at my friend's house lately. He is staying at the row along the main road near the yet-to-open guard house. Neither side of his neighbours is occupied at this moment. Firstly, he almost got broke in one of the night at about 3am. He was sounded asleep in the house. The thief was on his roof top and a passing by police car happened to spot the thief. The thief took a run and went missing. An investigation on the incident found out that the thief climbed from the far end of an empty house and walked more than 10 houses to my friend's roof top. Shocking huh. Secondly, a boy on the bike accidentally crashed through his gate yesterday afternoon when he was out. It was so seriously that the whole auto gate was crashed open and bent. The gate stopper was broken too. A maid in the opposite house saw it, but it was too fast that she couldn't remember the number plate. My friend checked with the guard, but no one seems to see anything at all. Luckily no one gets hurt. Nobody wants a dead body hanging on their gate when they get home, right . Anyway, this is just to let everyone aware of the incidents that happened in our taman.

I think this will be my last posted message for a while. Getting really tired of this all "write" and no action. Besides, apart from Ramesh, Siva, Spidey and a few others, the rest don't seem to be contributing. Typically Malaysian isn't it? Biar orang lain bising, aku dok senyap pun dapat untungnya. I'm tired of this. I think the security is a little better, the guards are more visible. I can communicate with them coz they speak my language and rudimentary English. I can convey our prob but please..... We need to put faces to those names at this site.............. Please get back to me once you guys are interested.....

Don't give up Harjeet. The amount of members in this forum is very small, let alone the active members. But because of the occasional postings from u all, I'm able to find out things that happened in our taman. My work requires me to travel often. Most of the time, I'm either out of the town or out of the country. So, only thru this forum that I can keep myself update. I truly appreciate this forum. Besides, most of the time, we only speak to our neighbours. Hence, we will not know things that happened on the other side of the taman. Hopefully thru this forum, we can be closer. Oh, one more good thing about this forum is that whenever I mentioned to ppl that my taman has a forum to get us in touch, they are all amazed ;D. hehehehehe.... hhhmm.. i guess this message is not in the right thread.. sorry.
