I am sorry for the house owner. I assume they are robbed at knife-point then since they know its indonesians. This is terrible, robbed as owners are in the house. And in daylight. This means they are brave and arrogant. They left on foot/bikes?

Hope this is reported to the PT Comm. Would like to hear any comments from the security company as well, esp if they left on vehicles.

This is truly disturbing, disappointing and worrying.

Sad to hear that and this is really alarming. Something is still lacking...... what will be the countermeasure by the security firm then?

Hi Guys,

The robbers provided fake ID and fake address at the guard post before they enter our taman. The police authority has mention that these robbers are bold enough and they took the risk to enter our taman even though it is guarded.

We have taken additional precaution by asking all visitors about their visiting address and name of the resident they are visiting. Guards will refer to the Resident List to confirm this to ensure it’s a valid address with correct resident name. However if the visitors are unable to provide accurate information or are looking suspicious based on personal judgment, guards shall call up the resident on the number registered in the Resident List using the Hotline to confirm that they are expecting visitors.
We are also in the midst of installing security camera for both post A and B.

We are regret such things has happen but we have taken additional precaution steps to improve the security.

Hi PT Comm,

How's the progress of the SOP? Delivered and accepted by the Security Company? I have observed certain points have been carried out like Security Post Mailboxes but there are also certain points that are not, eg. closing of the boom gate during non-peak hours, patrolling by bicycle, etc. Any updates?

Have you make all the outstanding payments for last 3 month security charges?

The new car stickers are out and it will be distributed for all those who have paid the security fees promptly and for those who has made the advance payment.

Take note that the old car stickers will be invalid soon.

Ramesh, please can we know where to buy the new car stickers? I've made my payment on time for the past 3 months.

Also what is the drastic measure for the daylight robbery? Have we all come out with a solutions? Is it best for the security guard to ask for the real IC for face authentication before giving it back to the visitor?

This sounds like daylight robbery in Jalan Ipoh which is not gated and guarded but ours is.

Hi Erric / All,

I am sure you have seen the copy of the SOP. We cannot get the SOP enforce fully because we haven’t inform all of the residents about the SOP, it is being translated into mandarin, Bahasa and tamil( if we can). After that we will pass this copy of the SOP to all the residents to make them understand the content of the SOP.

The residents association, the Security Company and residents are the 3 main components to make the save neighborhood concept working. Full commitment, understanding and mutual agreement from all is vital.

We are facing some challenges from our neighbors for not complying to some of the SOP. To satisfy everyone’s different opinion is also challenge for us.

We are working on it and you Guys will see the progress from time to time. We cannot change everything overnight and hope you Guys be patient to see the changes and the progress.

Regarding the last break in, we have taken additional measure for tighter monitoring and we are installing CCTV cameras on entry and exit points soon.

Don’t stop your comments or your feedbacks as we need to know your concerns.

Thanks Ramesh for the feedback.

I think it would also be good to share and update forum supporters here of the challenges or objections or views of other residents that you all might encounter outside this forum. So that forummers are also aware of whats happening and also able to share the challenges faced by the PT Comm. This also promotes better understanding both ways and we dont have to second guess whats the latest updates or happenings.

Also, any updates with the RA setup? That would be a positive way forward towards better organisation and execution of the committee's efforts.
