Update as at today 16th January 2011: 271 houses have paid January fees (78.10%)
Thanks to Siva spending the time for the collection.
Thanks to the residents who are cooperative and support us.

Hiya Ramesh/PT Com,
Just want to check on some leftover security issues from previous:-
1) Patrolling - Whats the frequency? Every 2 hours? What about the back lane patrolling issue? Have they agreed to patrol that area as well (I feel its equally important)? Also, on this issue, no problems using a bike but I suggest slow down a bit so that every house can be observed rather than just travelling up and down the street.
2) Visitors - Whats the updated procedure? Take down their details and give them pass? I think its good that every resident is updated about this procedure so that we can advise our visitors ahead of time to avoid any conflict or confusion and to ease the traffic. Especially so in view of the upcoming CNY festivities.
3) Security Gates - We have now Post A & B. Whats the finalised access arrangement? I noticed that there are signs saying Post A is for Residents only and B for both Residents and Visitors. Correct? Also, will Post A be closed completely during nights? What time? Probably will be good if we have the finalised ingress/egress arrangements for the gates.
4) Spotlight - Is it just me or can the spotlight be adjusted a bit lower at night for better visibility for the drivers?
5) Any possibility that the exit gates be manned? I understand that this is not possible during peak hours but what about non-peak hours? I am not suggesting that all vehicles be stopped and checked. But at least have a guard present, waving us or whatever. Main point is guard presence. I am saying this based on the observation that there are usually 2 guards inside the post during non-peak hours and they are usually not preoccupied with anything.
Thanks for listening, guys.

Just for laugh! Friends from overseas very curious when he visited Malaysia. "Why there are so many car park operators in Malaysia?" "No, that is our security guards" "But they look more like car park operators, waving hands and don't speak proper Malay or English." "Yes, we Malaysians are very rich. No one wants to be a guards" "But in our country, we don't have (car park attendants) but yet we can leave our milk money outside for milk man to collect. You mean Malaysians are more thefts than good?" "May be. May be not. But definitely we can learn a lot from your country" "You see we have two types of parking - 1) seasonal reserved parking (with sticker renewable every 3 months) and 2) non seasonal reserved parking (no sticker provided and no fees to pay). Both enjoy unlimited entries and exits. Only problem: This is a park at your own risks car park" "Wow you Malaysians and government are much advanced than us in creativity and innovation" "Hai, Domo Arigatoo!"

Yeah. My guess its either spam or bot. As the Mod-father of this forum, may I suggest you either delete or at least move it to the 'General' section where people can 'talk about anything' there. Afterall, this is a serious thread, our security's no joke! Anyway, just a suggestion only, dun kill my horse and put in my bed Grazie, Don Rameshzio ... ;D Anyway, talking about seriousness, good to see you back after a while! I have posted a few queries as above, can the PT Com share some light/updates on those matters? Thanks. Its been quiet here for a while, even Ramesh is missing Hope you guys don't mind me cut and pasting again my queries to the Pro-Tem Committee : - Quote fr earlier post - 1) Patrolling - Whats the frequency? Every 2 hours? What about the back lane patrolling issue? Have they agreed to patrol that area as well (I feel its equally important)? Also, on this issue, no problems using a bike but I suggest slow down a bit so that every house can be observed rather than just travelling up and down the street. 2) Visitors - Whats the updated procedure? I am saying this based on the observation that there are usually 2 guards inside the post during non-peak hours and they are usually not preoccupied with anything. While I understand some points need to be discussed with the Committee/Security Company, I am sure general issues like the Patrolling intervals and Visitors' LogIn procedure could be shared to all. Pro-Tem Com has commented previously that Residents' cooperation in informing their visitors about the login procedure is important to reduce congestion at the gates. As of now, I also do not know whats the procedure. Or is it posted elsewhere that I have missed? Looking forward to any feedback on the above issues, thanks.

Hi All, After many discussions and meeting with the committee members, the team has come up with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for our security company. It will be implemented soon after sorting out all the necessary items to be in place. Attached here is the content of the SOP and it is the final copy that we have delivered to security company on last Sunday. Residents are encouraged to read the attached document and understand the SOP. Residents are required to adhere to some of this procedure that has been mention in this SOP. Cooperation for both parties is very important to make this happen. Thanks Attachments:

congrat guysss..but how about the rest??dapat free ka? There are 2 items need to be highlighted; 1) Some of the residents parking place without thinking of the neighboring houses and roads. parking their cars sesuka hati...I was a bit difficult, especially as a female driver to remove the vehicle or entering the car into the car porch. I hope the Committee to discuss the ways to rectify the situation. 2) Removal of trash, I'll find a lot of garbage piled up in front of the house to be taken by Alam Flora. however, this continues until one week old. and some people take the opportunity to collect waste in the same place without thinking of the pile where it was disturbing their neighbors. this needs to be adulterated to the MPSJ as this will contaminate the surrounding views of the township. This problem also occurs to the courtyard area where the Alam Flora does not clean up the playground and let the garbage pile up for weeks ever wasted. This can be dangerous especially to young children playing there.

I first have to congratulate the PT Comm for drawing up the SOP. So this is what you guys have been up to in these past few weeks of silence! ;D Job well done, guys!
One last issue with regards to patrolling - Will the back lanes be covered as well?
The hotline no. given above supersedes the one in the car sticker, right?
Would like to add that for those who are still not in favour of the committee and the security fees, I hope this new development can give you all additional confidence and reason to support the cause. Its for YOUR OWN well-being after all.
Lastly, would like to conclude that while everything looks good on paper, it would look best in action. So, I would look forward to the Security Company complying to the SOP.
Good work, PT Comm!

My comment:
E7 - the guard should call the resident too beside calling police.
E8 - same as above.
The above service should only be provided to residents who have made payment. (suggest to tie identity card to the gate of the house who are "member" to differentiate from non-paying houses). Card to be removed from the gate of the houses if payment not made for 2 months consequtively. I think a normal plastic cable tie can be used to fasten the card. To remove, just gunting the cable tie...
