I think this is because we only have altogether only 3 guards instead of 3 guards in each post. There is shortage of guard to jaga both in and out at the same time. If we really have 6 guards (3 per post) then I think both in and out should be checked. Adding on to onhock's feedback, I hope dun mind me adding his original post on this matter : - Hi Protem Comm guys, you have my full support. Just wish to give my observations. Observations are:- 1. Yesterday my daughter came in abt 12 noon. 2. Today my friend came in abt 8 pm. Both from another taman so no sticker. They were not stopped by guards. I hope these are not indicative of the suggestions in the previous post that guards already feel intimidated, slack or tired. Its from the 'Payment' thread, but I think better discuss here coz its 'Security' issue. This is a good post as we have actual feedback on our new guards' performance. Two cases in a short time span cannot be considered a coincidence or one-off case. I trust the Pro-Tem comm will investigate on this ASAP. Since I am on this topic, I noticed that the exit boom gate is always up. I suggest it should also be closed and vehicles verified again before exiting. This acts like a second layer security and further deterrent. What do the rest think?

Accept the fact that manpower constraints do not allow this. However, it is not always that the entry point is busy. Especially during non-peak hours (this is where most crimes take place anyway), the guards (or guard) could at least take the initiative to have a lookout at the exit point as well when there is no activity at the entry point. Show face also good la ... Anyway, I leave it to the majority, also see what the Pro-Tem gang think. BTW, Pro-Tem guys very quiet this week - Ramesh, you on year-end Paris holiday is it? ;D As we approach the second month of this new security company, let's help the Pro-Tem team (& ourselves) in accessing their performance. My feedback - 1) Patrolling - Are they doing this? I rarely see them. My initial feedback earlier this month mentioned that they drive too fast to be called patrolling but now, bayang also dun have. Plus, any feedback yet on back lanes patrol? 2) Professionalism - Noticed that Gate B's guard is always looking at his mobile phone, even when opening the boom gate. Also, saw a few times with their trousers rolled up. I think it is important to upkeep the professionalism and image. That way, people know our security here means business. 3) Guards should be more aware on incoming cars. As we know, our 'waiting' space is limited, hence their quick action is important for the smooth flow of traffic. There are times when I have to stop for a few seconds before they actually lift up their heads, stand up and slowly walk towards to gate. (might be connected to the mobile phone point). 4) Would also like to remind on ong1057's contribution about guards letting in people without stickers. This is serious case. That said, its still an improvement over the previous one, though not yet perfect. I understand from the Pro-Tem team that a lot of residents currently are paying up grudgingly and not 100% willing. Let's dun give them a reason to lose faith as before and their contribution starts to slow down. Its also good that Dave (of Inland Securities) have access to all these feedback so that we can have his immediate attention. Lastly, I also hope the rest of the residents can give their comments (good or bad) if any so that the Pro Tem team can run the show better. Thanks. Hi Pro-Tem member,
I experienced the same like Pr1ma L4ker mentioned above, slow walk over to the gate, talking on the phone while opening the gate, chit-chatting with others (almost everyday between 11am to 2pm, there are other personels (two guys - foreign immigrant) without uniform inside the guard post with the guard who are on duty, . If they are helpers to take care the guard post, we don't mind).
The exit gate also need to be checked just in case someone came in with fake ID, break in houses and took stuffs out from our Taman, that can be also by chance to be detected by the outgoing guard.
Any comments.
Cheers

My suggestion is to close one guard post out of two, remain guard post B by putting all three guards to take care both Incoming and Outgoing checking. Just my opinion, what do most of your thinks?

Hi Guys, 1st of all sorry for the delay responses as I was busy with Christmas and New Year celebrations. Regarding the spotlight issue, we have place the sport light after we found the poor visibility at night and we are also aware that is faced towards the driver and makes the blind sport for drivers and we are looking into it and will get back to you guys soon. Thanks. Nice move on the spotlights but do you think can adjust the beam a bit lower? The light blinds my eyes and when the guard raise his arm, I also dunno whether he is waving at me or showing me the finger.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. Regarding this problem, it has been raised in yesterday meeting and it will be posted the security company for their next action. New action also been taken to increase the security monitoring and it will be monitor by the committee. Thanks. Hi, For your information, the water and electricity of the both guard post is bore by us. That is reason we got the spotlights that save the power rather than the one that consume more power. Thanks. Hi Guys, I think the guard is waving us all including those without stickers in as he is also blinded by our car head lights unless he is wearing dark glasses, not at night! or has superb eye sight. So actually he must stop all and take a closer look before waving on. In this way he can catch the freeloaders, make them come down and register each time. PS. I've changed my profile name fr onhock to ong1057. Cheers. Do you all think a torch light is more appropriate instead of spot light? BTW, who actually paying for the electricity/water of the guard post? the spot lights might consume high energy thus the bills could be very high..just my thought

Hi, By closing one of the guard post will increase the traffic volume more into one guard post. We are planning to open the Post A traffic for In and Out later and able to make a right turn as well to easy the traffic volume in one guard post. Thanks. Assume each house has 2 cars, 347 houses here would have 700 to 800 cars, + visitor's vehicles is going to be more than that. Having only one entrance and exit would causing traffic jam in the taman at high traffic volumn time e.g. morning 6am to 9pm. So dont complain being late to school or office frequently People staying along Jalan 3/1 would have their nightmare on seeing cars all the time.

Ramesh, a suggestion. There is a small side gate connecting us to the Double storey / Bungalow houses next to us and it is always lock. Can I suggest that the small gate be open from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm daily by the guard on duty. We suppose to enjoy the lake nearby & I noticed most ppl just climb over the fences, it would be nice if the gate is open for us to go through.

Hi Henry, We have been talking to Bolton since November to pass the gate key to us but they have not responded to us. We will wait another month and we will cut open the lock then we will provide new lock and maintain by us. Thanks for the feedback. Ramesh, a suggestion. Ramesh, good to see you back in action! Hope you had a good holiday and happy New Year celebrations.
I also hope you and the Pro-Tem team take our feedback in good faith. The Pro-Tem team gets an 'A' in my books for their initiative. Our issues are actually with the security company, and as the 'voice' for the TTP3 community, we only hope the Pro-Tem can represent us well. As such, besides listening to us, I hope the follow-up/action to the above feedbacks can be stated here so that we can be updated.
Special mention to Mr Lee who has to 'camp' at the Security House to collect payment monthly. Kesian... But is there an easier way for him to collect payment and also for us to pay? Is the RA finally approved & registered? I look forward to more payment options like online banking or cheques.
Finally, on the spotlight issue, I feel it is actually a positive step forward, just lower the beam a bit so that it doesnt hit our eyes.
Thanks and again, I look forward to the feedback from the Security Company regarding the issues raised.
