First of all, I would like to express my appreciation to the Pro-Tem committee for last Sunday's meeting and their initiative to address the security issue.
One of the issues raised was how the committee and the residents can better communicate with each other and I believe Ramesh has provided us a good platform via the Forum here. I understand not everyone has access to a PC or the internet but I still think this is one way that will work. In line with that, I hope the committee members can also be more active here as I only see Ramesh around. Or maybe he is the rep? Also, maybe a roll-call or a list of our Pro-Tem committee on this Forum? I am sure its the first time they are presented and residents would like to know them better.
In support of the committee and also the promise of better security for all, I have also paid in advance the security fees but is now wondering where and when I could get the car stickers?
I also support the notion of handing out 'emblems' to houses that updates their payments for display at the gates. It rewards a sense of pride but more importantly, gives a sense of guilt to those not paying up.
On the subject of changing stickers every quarter, its a good move to 'reset' the system but would the cost of new stickers be bourned by the security company?
Am also curious, though the turnout was encouraging, it was nowhere near a clear representation of the entire neighbourhood. Any statistics on how many % of residents showed up?
Last but not least, thanks to Ramesh for initiating and running this forum.
Cheers!

Can't hardly wait for the committee members to come knocking on 27th or 28th November. Please can you advise the timing? So that everyone is aware and not miss the chance? Guess this is how we missed the population and housing census.

Hi Pr1ma L4ker, The pro-tem committee members had a meeting on last Monday night and decided to meet all residents on the 27th Nov evening to provide the stickers for those who has paid on last Sunday and also to distribute memo for the residents about the contact of pro-tem committee contact numbers, also to inform the residents about the payment location for those who could not able to make the payment last Sunday. The team will also will collect the payment as be distribute the memo. As pro-tem committee, we will continue to meet the residents from time to time to get to know our residents better and to have strong relationship. Regarding the car stickers payments, the first sticker is provide free but the subsequent stickers is charge at nominal fee of RM2.00. It will be the same for the next quarter. The numbers of turnout was 50% of the total residents in Phase 3 and the total payout was 30% and we are aware that we need another round to meet the residents to get the other half commitments. It is good sign that all residents have put the trust in the current pro-tem committee to make this happen on what we wanted to do it for the last 5 years. We believe, we will do better then what Bolton has provided if we are united. It was not only me but the efforts of the current pro-tem committee who are doing a great job and I am proud to say that we have a good and dedicated team to make our resident to have better life. I would like to thank you for all your inputs and hope more residents will pen down your opinion as and suggestion as well as it will help us to make it better. Thanks. Its encouraging to see the Pro-Tem team pro-actively striving to achieve their objective, kudos to all of you. Actually, it should be OUR objective, ie. the entire residents of TTP 3, as this concerns OUR security and safety, not just the Pro-Tem members. The hard-work of organising better security for all has been done, we as residents just have to contribute to OUR OWN safety. I just hope all residents share the same view and the 27th event would be a success.
As for the car stickers, honestly, I was hoping for at least 2 for each house as I think on average, each house has 2 cars at least. Under the developer previously, IIRC, I think 3 were issued. Having said that, RM2 extra is minimal charges and I suppose until everyone commits to paying up, every sen helps the committee. I also agree that concern should be had for houses requesting for numerous stickers. Control measure has to be taken, probably taking down the car numbers?
50% turnout that day is very decent indeed, congratulations!

Hi Pr1mal4ker, The committee members went around after the rain and did distribute the Memo but it was bit late when they reach some of the houses. Anyway we did open up the collection booth at 'Post A' guard house and there was about 20 house owners turn up for the payment base on the Memo given on the 27th Nov, 2010. Thanks.
