Hi All,
Feed back from the residents as below. All this feedback were sent through the e-mails but I have posted here merely for the benefit of other residents who didn’t get the e-mail notification.
Thanks.

We need more professional security guard, probably well trained one, such as ADT, Syarikat Security Bekas Polis, etc. Probably can propose to the TTP management, and let them get some quote and get back to us.
If the security is lousy, RM50 is expensive and not worthy. If the security is excellent, even RM80 might worth the cost and well justified.

My thoughts. Keep the security, good for house market value and minimise prowlers. Discuss with management and set ground rules. Residents to abide with the rules. Register resident association. Ramesh for president. My one ringgit- due to price increase

I see them walking their rounds whenever I take my dog for a walk at nights. I see them stopping and questioning drivers of cars that they do not recognise. And yes, I have also seen them not really doing their duty as what they are supposed to. So they are sometimes inconsistent and it is our duty to raise this matter with the management office which we have the right to since we are paying for the service.
Consistent or not, having them around and complimenting them with the very, very good neighbours that I have, I sleep more peacefully at nights when I am outstation. I am pretty sure that I will not be having the same peaceful sleep if I am staying in an area without any form of security.
So, I agree with Edwin and Hidayat, lets KEEP them and follow the simple rules of having the car sticker. The hassle of sticking one on your car windscreen is just one time thing than having to go through the constant inconvenience of being stopped. It’s common sense. At the end of the day, these are the most basic requirement for any guarded facilities anywhere and the choice is up to each one of us on whether to follow. If you choose not to, then please do not complain when the guards constantly stop you as they are mandated to do so.
Just my 2 cents.
Sincerely,
Glenn W. Nunis

I personally think that whether the security is functioning fully or not it should still be there because though it might just be for 'show' but I'm pretty sure a thief/robber/criminal will think twice or thrice if the person is considering committing a crime in this housing area.
Though not 100%, at least a big number of unwanted crimes can be deterred.
So my conclusion, whether it is functioning or not, keep it there.
p/s:- Don't forget about Nurin or Sharlinie..... now think about your own kids... yes that's right, every ounce of security counts.

Edwin

Hi,
I agree that we need to support & respect to security rules in place. Since we hv them already & been paying for it, let make the best out of it - maximize it. I dont think there is much effort for us to oblige to some of its very basic rules... car stickers, guest registration etc.. and most importantly in giving our cooperation, understanding & respect. It dont make sense that we put security up, but then refuse to follow the set procedures - that is why it just become a show.
Thx,

I agree with Ramesh. There 's no point paying for security guards when anyone can just drive into our Taman
