Hi All,
Recently the security guard company head called me up to complain the attitude of our residents. As all of you aware the security guard is placed at the entrance to our Taman to guard our Taman from theft and break in but some of the residents are not cooperating when the guard request you to stop and register your name when you car doesn’t have stickers. On top of that you guys are screwing and raising the voice and even some of you using vulgar words against the security guards who are doing their duty.
Come on guys… those without stickers, you can get your stickers at RM10 from the prima office to void being stop by the security guard. I hope you guys will cooperate and inform you neighbors who don’t have the stickers as well. Here we are making a better place to live but some are not cooperating with the security company and even making it their live hell for them. If this is how it is going to be then no point placing the security guard at our Taman. No matter how many security company we change, thing will no change if we don’t change our character.
All of us agreed earlier that cars without stickers need to be stopped and record the name and others information. I hope everybody will corporate and to abide on this rule set earlier. Please park your car on the side of the guard house to avoid unnecessary obstruction of traffic and creating a long jam at the entrance. As you aware we have limited space to park our car at the entrance and it is also very dangers to have a long queue because of the limited space. Try to understand and be more cooperative against the rules set. We all are bunch of educated people and don’t need to be otherwise.
Thank You in Advance for Your Cooperation.

Hi, would like to enforce what was just brought up by Ramesh (thanks Ramesh). Imagine this situation: If the guards get's so piss off with our attitude towards them and they decide to just makan gaji buta and simply let every car/persons in and if the ppl just so happen to be a thief and breaks into your house, don't blame them.... blame yourself. Can I suggest to inform the guards to not waste their time or get stress out from arguing with the person but to take down the information of the resident(s) that misbehaves or is rude/un-cooperative. (take down car no. plate, name or address if possible) and we can as a group go and pay a friendly visit to the person(s) and politely inform them of what we heard and kindly ask for their cooperation. I believe it will work because it's quite embarrassing if a group of my own neighbours approaches me to tell me to behave Even if their not so responsive when approached, there will constantly be a lingering conscious in their mind and heart reminding them of what we told them. Just my 2 cents worth...... regards

Hi All,
We had problems with security guard ever since the 1st day, of course not all the security guard should be blamed but also some of our neighbours. However I feel until today we never had satisfying security guards, few reasons why, in most cases they don't properly attired, some don't even wear uniform during duty, shirt not tucked in, some don't groom themselves and makes them look like rowdy, some makes don't know when resident cars pass by, sometimes no one is at the security gate, small group gather at security stations and chit chat without bothering any cars going inside, sometimes we do notice a small note hang at the security post door saying "security dalam tandas" and worst part is sleeping on the chair during DAY TIME !!. I have taken pictures of security guards sleeping inside the room at night before but now its even worst, so I stop complaining as I find its hopeless, maybe just maybe that is the reason why most residents couldn't be bothered abt security guards and I think most of us find them useless and they just be at the post for the sake of being there. Only when the guards become serious and committed to their job, do a properly rounding around our housing area, stop all the cars without sticker and be friendly to residents then I think everyone will start to follow rules and respect them too. Otherwise I think most of us feel the payment for security has no value and there won't be much commitment from our end. This is just my point of view.
Comments and Feedbacks are welcomed

hi all,
Until today, the guard still doing the same things like what Ravi's mentioned above. A of group people sitting chit chat without bothering any car going in. Sleeping.
And last few days around 11pm, a small size lorry park just right in front of my house, 3 guys, get off the car and walked to the small lorong to the garden side. I was wonder, are they a resident ? Is the guard check properly then allow them to come in. Why they park right in front of my house if they are resident or they come in to look for friends.
i stand inside my house(front door) and watching them, but there pretend not seeing me. i dont know who those people, i was afraid if ofended them what will going happen. i only can keep on eye. (who and what contact number i should call if suspecting, police is too slow to respond, waiting for ringing and pickup, sometime cannot get thro)
If the guards not do their duty according, then what we paid are useless, we paying for them to sitting there chit chat and sleeping.
I still remember, i was trying 2 times to go to a double story house near, jalan puteri to searching a house. The guard was stop and not allow me to go in even i explain my purpose. They only given me a agent name card , to cotact make appointment then only able to enter.
Just a question, why we are not using a touch card, without the card, the car must stop then the security guard have to go forward at least to question and record down the detail.
I really hope the management can do better, then all the resident will able to have peace of mind to staying here.
Regards, Jo- Jalan 3/3

Hi All, Through the e-mail respond ....... Hi Ravi/All, It’s true what you said as I have caught few people and reported to the chief guard. Normally they get warning first and if he repeats then they get sacked. Please do send mails with this kind issue so I can report to the chief guard. The problem here is the number of guard are only 5 currently compare to be 9 last time. The chief guard (Mr.Shah) told me that they are force to reduce to 5 and further being force to reduce later as some of the resident have not paid the monthly fees and currently PHND are going on deficit and therefore they are planning to close Post A and being to be only with Post B and further reduce the number of guard to 3. For your information, most of the break-in is during the working hours (9am-5pm). We need to have internally meeting with our resident before we raise the concern to PNHD. To organize internal meeting is not easy as most of them will have problem to meet. I can’t do this alone as this needs time and manpower. I hope more of you will come forward to organize this internal meeting with resident on the awareness of the security issue before losing our security guard for our Taman. I am willing to open my home for few of you, who are willing to give help to organize the internal meeting. We need to do this fast and I need volunteer, any volunteer? We are also just few of the concern residents just like you who are doing this on our free will on our busy schedule with work and family but we don’t want to be loner fighting the war alone. Currently I am get lots of calls from some of the residents complaining about the problems they are facing in our Taman. We also need people to come forward to organize committee members so they can be contacted if they are any crises. Any volunteers out there? If the responds are poor then we will also forget the whole idea and carry on our own business. Thanks. P/S : Without guard means there will be drop in the value of the our property. There will be drop in the safety (comes hand in hand). Remember our children’s safety at the same time. I am sure you don’t want another Shaline’s case. J Volunteer :- 1. Name ? Contact Number ? Address ? Suggested Date ? 2. I waited like 10 sec with my bright HID light and took the time to take picture and he was still sleeping and I have to horn to wake him up. Seeing this kind of guards any thief will have free time to do anything they want. Regards, Ravi

yes the security is not very good here. i visit a friend in Damansera. the guard want to see my IC and Driving licence and i need to tell which person i want to visit. the people which stay in the area have a touch card to open the gate all other have to register and the guard is opening. the gate have 4 guards and is 24h engaged. the guard house got CCTV at entrance and exit and inside the guard house. my friend pay 170RM per month maintaince cost incl. security. i think we should change our gate to the same system.

Hi All, Another feed back from the resident ..... From: Sean Yuen [mailto:sean.yuen@gmail.com] Sent: 31 May, 2008 7:22 PM To: RAMESH RAMOO Subject: Re: House Break In today (Taman Tasik Prima) Hi Ramesh, Thanks for the info. Read the post. Just a few comments referring to PNHD, not you (you've done a marvelous job) Paying the Security fees is one thing, but we also want quality guards. PNHD has cut some security workforce due to residents not paying the fees, fine, we ourselves are to blame. But even with the few guards, there should be quality. I'm sure all of us know that the guards had been caught sleeping on the job, and power-of-the-hand has replaced the need for car stickers, etc. So are why we paying money for inefficient security? I don't see the need to pay for someone sitting at the guard house for show. I guess everyone would be interested to know what value the security guards are giving to the residents for the past 1 year? Examples may include: - stopped xx number of cars without stickers - stopped a burglar from entering a house from the roof - notified a house owner of unlocked gate - wrote down suspicious vehicles registration numbers - etc The question is, even if every resident pays the fees fully (we're legally binded to pay anyway), what will we get? 10 security guards that continues to sleep on the job and lets every car pass by? Or 5 security guards that are alert, stops every car without stickers, notes any suspicious persons, etc...? If it's the latter, I'm quite sure the residents of our Taman would be happy to pay the security fees If it's the former (low quality security), I'd rather spend the money on house security alarm and home content insurance. RM260 could insure RM50k value of Home contents lost (i'm not an insurance saleman.. )

I have check for my house a wired CCTV with recording and 4 Camera including installation is around 2000RM. IF we would order together we will get a good discount. I ask also for a wireless version of CCTV. One camera will be 500RM to 800RM and is not realy wireless. Camera need always power. so you have to put a wired and there is no different if you put 3 wires or only one. only the cable is bit more thick. if some on want to have can contact me by sending me a message.
