Dear all, In future, there will be a few options to pay the monthly fees. a. Pay at the guard post B, every first saturday of the month. 12pm till 6pm. Look out for the banner infront of the guard house for info. b. Special arrangement with me if you are out of town. i.e. bank transfer with receipt as proof. c. Cheque payment. d. A committee will be in-charge of taking care of some zones/lanes of the taman, payment can be sent to him/her. Cheque payment is convenient. Payable and also submit to who?

Currently, I am accepting cheques on hehalf of the RA through my personal name, the cheques then will be deposited into an account opened specifically for the RA USE ONLY. (Public Bank Berhad, Bandar Puteri Branch. Easy for me to purchase Banker's Cheque for making payments).
Please talk to me if you would like to use this channel of payment.
We are still waiting the ROS approval on our RA then we can open our account on RA's name.

Slightly worrying as it seems like a downward trend. Anyway, its still early days in March so will look forward to the next update to have a clearer picture. Anyway, thanks to Lee again for your collection effort!

Dear all active forumers,
I am short of manpower on collecting monthly fees and related matters, I hope you all can contact me for volunteering yourself on collection task.
There are 2 modes of collection:
1. Door-to-door; 2. Station at guard house B.
Let me know your choice of collection and time, I will brief you and provide support.
Having discussions and giving feedback at forum is good, but we really lack of manpower on executing the plans, it is time for everybody to volunteer.
PM, email or call me to let me know you will be helping.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Lee,
Yes, we understand your one-man-show, thats why every month upon collection date, I am sure a lot of people are grateful to your effort.
I agree you need support but I am not too sure whether going public is the best way. I know other uninformed residents have been questioning your right to collect since the beginning, and having fresh faces during collection will further raise their doubts and insecurity. I suggest you try get help internally first, ie. the PT Committee. The Comm members are the 'authorised' and recognised people representing our neighbourhood, hence, better candidates, more so if it involves money.
Actually, my earlier post is reflecting on the apathy of non-paying residents and not Lee's effort. Those still not paid kindly do so. We have to be responsible for our OWN homes. We do not need to be reminded or persuaded or forced to contribute to our own safety. We should be going to Lee or the committee, not the other way around.

We can help by paying more in advanced.
By paying more in advanced, you don't need to go for payment every month, and Mr Lee won't need to process so many payments and issue so many receipts.

Anticipated comments like this, after all we are all Malaysian who like to blog using nicknames and obviously comments are free. There is a reason why door-to-door collection is still being the best mode of collection besides opening payment counter at Post-B as Lee and PT committee members have been doing so far: To get to know our residents better, build relationship, and listen to their suggestions and feedback to constantly improve the service and this is especially important when we start something new like the new security SOP in our neighborhood.
ppfoong, How many residents do you think would want to pay in advance; Pr1ma L4ker, Malaysian need to be reminded to pay their taxes, to pay their summons, ever after an extended dateline is given, how to do suggest we make them responsible to pay security fee every months? And your comment on authorization is very lame. We have had some residents stop by at post-B during collection to help Lee in writing receipt, handling change, distributing new stickers etc. Your comments on first getting PT committee’s to help, do you think they are not doing it, Lee mentioned clearly there are lack of manpower in PT committee. Guys, we live in a neighborhood as a family, we can automate every single thing from collection, distributing flyers etc, but then our lives will not be much different from robots. Don't think PT committee knows every single one of your personally. So get out of your comfort chair in-front of your PC, come out and see how you can contribute rather than typing away comments that might or might not make sense.

Well, pay in advance is not something new, PNHD/Bolton has been practising it since day 1. Remember that we only need to pay 4 times a year, 3 months payment each time? If u think it doesn't make sense, then I shut up

I am not sure whether you are a committee member or a 'committed resident' but I think you got everything so wrong. As we move forward to this new era of self-governance in our neighbourhood, you are actually suggesting we go backwards. As ppfoong and myself and others are encouraging residents proactively do their part, I am shocked that you even used examples like summons and taxes. Are you proud of that? Yes, the reality is that people lack responsibility but is this what we want? Is this progress? Does the committee wants to knock on every door every month just to collect payment? Or do they prefer residents willingly going up to them to Post B to pay every month? You mentioned I read Lee's post wrongly about the lack of manpower but I am sure i read it correctly. He specifically mentioned "I am short of manpower". You can't fault me for understanding that as being in reference to him personally. Am I supposed to know everything that is going on in the committee? I just see a man who needs help and I just gave a suggestion. Furthermore, I would like to make it clear that this forum is NOT a complaint avenue. I am not treating it as one. Hence, all my comments are given in good faith to the community and committee and as suggestions. No need to get so defensive. I might or might not be right. If you have a different opinion, let's discuss instead of having fits and outbursts. This is what a FORUM is afterall. Please check the difference between a forum and a BLOG before making comments to show your ignorance. I would suggest you use your excitement and enthusiasm in promoting and encouraging non-paying resident to get involved rather than shooting people in the same team. Contrary to what you want to believe, a forum/internet is an important and invaluable tool to foster just that. I think Ramesh understands that, thats why this site was created in the first place. And I have been supporting this and also encouraging him to make this forum known to more residents so that we can reach out. This is the digital age, whether you like it or not, and if it makes you happier, I can contribute to this forum sitting on a hard stool with the fan switched off. By the way, I just find it amusing that after all your references about people 'hiding behind their PCs', you are the only one not even Registered in this forum. Thats just 'lame'. Dear Pr1ma L4ker, when Lee requested help, that's precisely what he wants. I'm sure he and the PT committee would have tried all avenues/methods in the last 4 months since they took over. Maybe the March payment statistic can prove the point. Lee can you share?
Not suggesting we shall not move backwards and that's not my point, Agreed also we shall instead educate the residents to take initiative. The question here is how? It takes time to build confidence/rapport and soft-touch can never be replaced at least at the beginning toward building that. That's what Lee and the gang have been doing and need help in.
Sorry to say, to a certain extend, some of the posts in the forum does sound like complaint.
