Dear all,
I think the mosquitoes problem still persists in the neighbourhood (might lead to denggi etc). Should bring up this matter to developer for resolution.

"still persist" is being too soft.... perhaps "getting worst" is more precise ?

Hi All, I received this mail from Dr.Harjeet Pannu ... ;D Hi Mr Ramesh, Got the email from Mr Wong. Apart from what he has written on the mosquitoe menace and lighting, I'd like to add : 1. The other park over at the Sutra housing area accessed from Jalan 3/2 has not been sealed off and at time motorcycles are joyriding there. Can something be done ala the other park. 2. What about houses whose keys have been handed over but owners are not occupying yet. Most of the houses are now filled with shrubs and such. Is the management in any way able to help out with the cleaniness? I'd like to thank you for keeping me abreast with things. Hope to meet you in person soon. Maybe we can both buy some aerosol cans and go kill mosquitoes... LOL ;D ;D

Hi all,
Again, the mosquitoes problem has been getting worse in our area, could be due to raining season? Even have mosquitoes flying around in broad daylight in my house. Anyone encountering the similiar problem?
Worried this might lead to more serious denggi case in our area. Spraying aerosol will not permanently destroy the mosquitoes. Though we had highlighted the problem to the developer on this, I think they are not acting swiftly to resolve the problem i.e. fogging in our area. Understand alternatively we could approach MPSJ ourselves to resolve this via their website etc. Anyone had any other ideas to resolve this?
Regards,
Wong WC

Hello Wong,
Main reason is the drain in front and at the back of our houses. It's blocked and provide a good breeding ground for mosquitos. I use to see two guys clearing the drain when I first moved in and was very impressed with the maintaince service then. But I could not spot them anymore. Guess it's another case of cost down activity from the management to maintain their profit margin. I'm as concern as you as I sit at home during day and get mosquito bits all over. Dr. Harjeet and I agree to meet this weekend to discuss security issues. Maybe you can join in and discuss about this too. Ramesh , we need your feedback on these two major issues.

Those 2 guys probably stopped cleaning the drains after contracting dengue. The drains are getting worse. as a matter of fact, most of the surrounding area is getting worse... What do the others think

My wife did call MPSJ on the fogging in our area on Tuesday? Didnt know that they (MPSJ) are so efficient (2 days)?
Think better to call next time rather to go thru developer. BTW, will be free to attend meeting tomorrow. Ps inform if there is changes.

From my limited and dated medical knowledge, fogging would be prompt if there has been a notified dengue case in the area.....

I thought I better put this reply in the right subject. ;D
On 16 Jan, I wrote to MPSJ:
Tuan,
Saya bagi pihak penduduk Taman Tasik Prima Fasa 1C ingin membuat pertanyaan berkenaan kerja2 pembersihan kawasan perumahan & taman permainan sekitar kawasan tasik prima fasa 1C.
Sekian

I've noticed that the grass on the main road leading to our taman is overgrown. Isn't MPSJ supposed to cut it every 2 weeks?

As you can all see too the access road to our area is getting worse. I have tried calling En Kuzaini a few times prior and only got thru to him today. Shockingly, he appeared at my house an hour later, 10 am today! He brought along a Mr Redwan who is directly in charge of our Taman. He's explained that the area within the guard house is MPSJ's responsibility but the road outside has not been handed over yet due to continued construction down the road. He was also upset by the mess there and told me that MPSJ had already asked the builders to hand over with poor response. He then added that they are going right over to give the management a notice to clean the place up pronto. He's taken my number and says he'll call and come over to find out again. I think the management is really playing the fool with us. Don't they realise the health issues involved? Any opinions?
